The bathroom is the first decision at Ein Gedi Camp Lodge: every stay type uses shared toilets and hot showers. In return, the lodge gives you four ways to sleep beside Kibbutz Ein Gedi, from your own tent to fitted family tents, air-conditioned couples vans, and a VIP caravan. It suits travelers who want an outdoor, communal base with shared kitchens, a restaurant-bar, and Dead Sea views. It does not suit anyone who needs a private bathroom, pool, or on-site bathing access.
Fata Morgana Khan, Neot HaKikar
Fata Morgana Khan is a family-run desert accommodation in the agricultural fields of Neot HaKikar. It combines large furnished tents, wooden cabins, private rooms, a shared kitchen and dining area, and outdoor spaces for meals, campfires, workshops, and group events. Choose it for a communal desert stay with room to gather, not for a conventional beach-resort holiday.
Khan Eretz HaTamar, Kalia Beach

Choose it for a night tied to the western side of Masada and the Kana’im Valley, not as a Dead Sea beach resort. Drivers must approach through Arad on Road 3199 because Masada West has no road connection to Route 90.

Metzoke Dragot Travelers Village
Metzoke Dragot Travelers Village spreads several very different stay types across a Judean Desert cliff above the Dead Sea. You can bring a tent, sleep in a basic hut, book an ensuite Travelers Room, choose a Tenty or Mul Yam unit, or reserve an 80-square-metre apartment for up to eight guests. Come for the cliff setting and the range of accommodation. The winding uphill access and lack of a beach are the costs of that choice.
Shkedi’s Camplodge, Neot HaKikar
Shkedi’s Camplodge is a small desert compound in Neot HaKikar with wooden cabins, large group cabins, canvas tents, and two converted buses.
