Masada Snake Path scheduled to close on 8 October
The Israel Nature and Parks Authority says Masada’s Snake Path will be closed to hikers on Thursday, 8 October, for maintenance. The notice concerns the Snake Path, not the whole national park. Check the latest INPA notice before planning your visit.
Check En Gedi longer-route access directly with INPA

Israel Nature and Parks Authority’s Hebrew and English En Gedi pages agree that Nahal David is limited to the short route to the first waterfall, Nahal Arugot is open as a challenging route with entry permitted until three hours before closing, and the antiquities area is open. The official pages conflict on access to Ein Gedi Spring, Dudim Cave and Gav Halon. Check both official pages and call the INPA information center at *3639 before relying on longer-route access.
