Representatives of the Tamar Regional Council have been taking part in Israel`s largest annual Municipal Corporations Conference — a gathering of government ministers, Knesset members, heads of national companies, corporation CEOs and local authority leaders from every corner of the country.
One of the headline panels asked a big question: "Will someone cut the power?" — is Israel truly prepared for the energy challenges ahead? It`s a vital issue for every community, and one we take to heart here in Tamar, where life in the desert means we know a thing or two about making the most of our natural resources.
Artificial intelligence was high on the agenda too, with discussions on how smart, cutting-edge tools can help local authorities improve services, make better decisions and work more efficiently.
