Terms of Use

1. Operator and scope

Updated 9 September 2026. These Terms include our AI assistant, privacy protections for private conversations and the rights that remain available under applicable law.

These Terms govern use of DeadSea.com, including its Israel and Jordan sections, articles, search tools and AI assistant. The website is operated by DEADSEA COM LLC, a US company with operations in Israel, referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”.

Registered address: 8TH THE GRN, STE B, DOVER, DE 19901, United States. Contact: support@deadsea.com.

The site provides free editorial and general information about the Dead Sea. We do not operate the hotels, beaches, tours, transport services, spas or shops described on it. Unless a separate service expressly says otherwise, we do not sell or confirm bookings or collect payment for third-party products or services.

2. Using the website

These Terms apply to your use to the extent that they form an enforceable agreement under applicable law. If you do not agree to applicable service terms, do not use that service. Our services are intended for people who are at least 18, or the age of majority where higher, and have capacity to agree to these Terms. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to bind it.

Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information processing. Acceptance of these Terms or continued browsing does not constitute consent to optional cookies, marketing, sensitive-data processing or unrelated AI training. Any consent required for those activities must be obtained through the appropriate separate process.

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer, privacy or other rights that the applicable law does not permit you to waive.

3. Articles, recommendations and current information

Articles and guides help you learn about the Dead Sea and research a visit. We aim to provide useful, accurate information, but content can contain errors, omissions or material that has become outdated. Publication or update dates do not guarantee that every detail is current.

Check information that affects a booking, journey or purchase with the relevant authority or provider before relying on it. This includes opening hours, access, prices, availability, facilities, accessibility arrangements, transport and entry conditions. A mention, ranking or recommendation is not a guarantee that a particular option will meet your needs.

Tell us about a suspected error at support@deadsea.com, preferably with the page URL and the statement concerned. We assess correction requests but cannot promise a particular response time or editorial outcome.

4. AI assistant and answers

The optional AI assistant is powered by Async. It is an automated system, not a human adviser. Submitting a question through the homepage AI question field sends the question and starts a conversation automatically. Ordinary article search remains a separate way to find our published content.

AI answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your circumstances. They can generate unsupported statements or incorrect references. Do not assume that a person has reviewed an answer or that a cited page supports every statement. Similar questions can receive different answers.

The assistant provides general information. It does not provide professional advice, assess your personal fitness for an activity, monitor emergencies or determine whether a place is safe for you now. Verify important travel and health details independently before acting. An answer does not confirm a booking, price, availability, refund or commitment by us or by a provider. A transaction requires confirmation through the relevant provider's actual booking or purchase process.

Keep questions general. Do not send passwords, payment information, identification documents, medical records or other sensitive or confidential material. Do not disclose another person's information without appropriate authority. Our Privacy Policy describes conversation processing, provider access, the contractual restriction on model training and privacy rights. The assistant is not a channel for making an urgent privacy or legal request; contact support@deadsea.com directly.

You may use an answer for your personal research, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. We do not guarantee that an AI answer is unique, capable of copyright protection or free of third-party rights. Report an incorrect or harmful answer to support@deadsea.com with enough context to identify it, without including unnecessary personal information.

5. Health, minerals and products

Information about minerals, salt, mud, skincare, bathing, climate, wellness or medical research is educational. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription or recommendation for your individual condition. Using the website or assistant does not create a healthcare-professional relationship.

Research findings do not establish that every Dead Sea product has the same composition, effect or suitability. A description of a natural ingredient is not proof that a finished product treats or prevents disease. Follow the actual product's label and warnings. Ask a qualified healthcare professional about a medical condition, medication, pregnancy, skin reaction or uncertainty about an activity's suitability. Do not delay necessary care because of website content or an AI answer.

For an emergency, contact local emergency services. Do not wait for a website or chat response.

6. Travel, alerts and Israel or Jordan

Conditions and requirements differ between Israel and Jordan. Confirm the country, location and route to which information applies. Information about one country does not establish access, entry permission or conditions in the other.

Our travel news and alerts are informational and may not be complete or continuously updated. The absence or expiry of an alert does not establish that travel is safe. Check current notices from the relevant government authorities, your own country's travel advice and the operator of the place you intend to visit. Follow local restrictions, signs and on-site instructions.

Outdoor and bathing activities have risks, including heat, flash flooding, unstable ground, sinkholes and exposure to highly saline water. Content on this site is not a substitute for current local conditions, qualified supervision where appropriate or your assessment of your circumstances. We do not guarantee an activity's safety or a travel outcome.

7. External services, affiliates and advertising

A booking or purchase on another provider's service is governed by that provider's terms, prices, cancellation rules and privacy practices. We do not control its availability or performance. Contact the contracting provider about a reservation, payment, cancellation or refund. This does not remove any responsibility we may have under mandatory law for our own conduct or representations.

Some links are affiliate links. We may receive a commission if you follow one and complete a qualifying action. We identify affiliate and sponsored placements near the relevant content or link. Commercial relationships do not override our editorial standards for accuracy or support for health claims. Sponsorship does not establish scientific support, medical suitability or a safety guarantee.

External pages and embedded services can change independently of us. Our use of a service provider does not exempt us from the privacy responsibilities that apply to our own processing.

8. Permitted use and security

You may browse the website, use its public features for their intended purpose and share links to its public pages. Do not:

  • Break the law, infringe another person's rights, impersonate someone or send unlawful, threatening or abusive content.
  • Attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, distribute malicious code or evade legitimate access restrictions.
  • Overload the service or use automation that materially disrupts it or ignores applicable technical restrictions.
  • Misrepresent our content or AI answers as your own verified professional advice, an official safety clearance or an endorsement we have not given.
  • Republish protected material or exploit it commercially beyond the permissions below or rights granted by law.

Ordinary linking to public pages and legitimate search-engine indexing consistent with our published technical directives are permitted. This permission does not authorise bulk republication, access to restricted data, or use of protected content to train AI models where permission is legally required. Statutory exceptions and other rights granted by law remain unaffected.

We may proportionately restrict a feature or access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a security threat, unlawful conduct or a breach of these Terms. We will provide an explanation where practicable and lawful. You can contact support@deadsea.com to ask us to review a restriction.

9. Intellectual property and quotation

Original website text, designs, photographs, graphics and branding are owned by us or used under licence, unless stated otherwise. Other brands and materials belong to their respective rights holders. We do not claim ownership of the geographical name “Dead Sea” or of facts themselves. We do not assert that a mark is registered unless that is expressly identified and accurate.

You may quote up to 150 words from a single page for non-commercial purposes if you attribute DeadSea.com and link directly to that page. This is additional permission, not a restriction on quotation, fair use, fair dealing or another exception allowed by law. It does not authorise use of photographs or other separately licensed material. Ask support@deadsea.com about other uses that require permission.

10. Material you submit

You retain any rights you hold in material you submit. You must have the rights and authority necessary for the particular submission and its intended use.

Private messages and chats. Sending a private support message or AI conversation does not grant us a general right to publish, advertise with or sell the message. Processing is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Permission to deliver a requested service is limited to what that service requires; it is not blanket consent to an unrelated training purpose. We will obtain separate permission before publishing an identifiable private conversation unless disclosure is lawfully required.

Material expressly submitted for publication. If you knowingly submit text, photographs or other material for publication through a feature or process identified for that purpose, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, edit for presentation, translate and display it on the website for that stated purpose. We may allow necessary technical providers to perform those functions. We will not knowingly edit it to create a materially misleading account. This licence does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated advertising uses.

You can ask us to remove published material. We will consider the request, relevant rights and any lawful reason to retain a record. Copies lawfully made by others and copies in independent search caches may remain outside our control. Privacy rights are handled under the Privacy Policy regardless of this content licence.

12. Availability and responsibility

The website and AI features are provided without a promise of continuous availability or error-free information. Maintenance, technical faults and external services may interrupt them. We may change or discontinue free features, subject to applicable law and any specific commitment we have made to you.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties beyond those expressly given or required by law. This does not excuse a misleading statement or a failure to perform a duty that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are responsible for loss caused by our conduct to the extent required by applicable law. For consumers, these Terms do not impose an artificial monetary cap on rights to compensation. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, death or personal injury where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other non-excludable liability.

If you use the website for business purposes, then to the extent legally permitted we are not liable for indirect or consequential business loss, including lost profits or business opportunities, that is not a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach. Nothing in this paragraph affects the non-excludable responsibilities above.

13. Disputes and applicable law

Contact support@deadsea.com if you have a complaint. We will consider it in good faith. Contacting us first is encouraged but is not a condition of exercising a legal right or complaining to a regulator.

Israeli law governs these Terms to the extent that a choice of law is permitted. Mandatory protections under another applicable law remain available to you. If you are a consumer habitually resident in a country whose mandatory consumer laws apply, this clause does not remove those protections or your right to bring proceedings in a court available to you under applicable law.

Subject to those mandatory rules, the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction. These Terms do not require binding arbitration, waive a statutory right to collective proceedings, or shorten a limitation period provided by law.

14. Changes and general provisions

We may update these Terms to reflect service or legal changes. We will identify the effective date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes, using a prominent notice and any additional method required by law or an existing commitment. Changes will apply prospectively. We will seek agreement where the law requires it and will not use an update to retrospectively remove an accrued right.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Any adjustment must respect mandatory law and must not automatically substitute a different unfair provision. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it for all future occasions.

We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a legitimate business transfer only where doing so does not unlawfully reduce your rights. These Terms do not authorise a transfer of personal information inconsistent with the Privacy Policy or applicable law.
