Operator Identity

This Site is operated by Forecast Consulting and Marketing Ltd, a company incorporated and registered in Israel (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

The Operator does not operate hotels, tour operators, transportation services, medical facilities, spa or treatment centres, or any other commercial services described or referenced on the Site. All references to third-party businesses, prices, schedules, facilities, medical providers, or therapeutic services are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty of those businesses or services.

The Site does not provide professional advice of any kind, including without limitation: medical, health, therapeutic, legal, financial, investment, tax, or safety advice. Use of the Site does not create any professional, advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship between you and the Operator.

Medical, Health, and Wellness Content Disclaimer

CRITICAL NOTICE – READ BEFORE RELYING ON HEALTH-RELATED CONTENT

Content on this Site that refers to health, therapeutic, wellness, dermatological, respiratory, or other physiological effects associated with the Dead Sea, its minerals, its climate, its waters, or related treatments is provided for GENERAL INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

This content does NOT constitute medical advice, a clinical diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, a prescription, or a substitute for professional medical consultation.

NO DOCTOR-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP OR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER RELATIONSHIP is created by your access to or use of this Site.

ALL VISITORS – regardless of current health status – are strongly advised to consult a qualified, licensed physician or healthcare professional BEFORE: (i) travelling to the Dead Sea region; (ii) participating in any activity, bathing, mud treatment, spa therapy, or climate therapy described on this Site; (iii) modifying any health regimen, medication, or treatment plan based on information encountered on this Site.

4.1  Scope of Health Information

References on the Site to potential benefits associated with the Dead Sea environment – including but not limited to effects on psoriasis, eczema, arthritis, respiratory conditions, skin conditions, or general wellness – are drawn from published scientific and clinical literature and historical accounts. Such references are descriptive and informational only. They are not curative claims, therapeutic promises, or personal recommendations. The Operator makes no representation that any specific outcome will be achieved by any individual.

The Operator expressly disclaims any liability arising from: (a) a user’s decision to pursue or modify medical treatment based on Site content; (b) any adverse health event, injury, reaction, or outcome arising from activities or environments described on the Site; (c) reliance on Site content as a substitute for professional medical consultation.

4.2  Specific Health and Safety Risks – The Dead Sea Environment

The Dead Sea environment presents specific physical risks of which all visitors should be aware. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Extreme salinity: The Dead Sea contains approximately 34% dissolved salt content, compared to approximately 3.5% in standard ocean water. Direct ingestion of Dead Sea water is hazardous and can cause serious injury or death. Open wounds, mucous membranes, and eyes are susceptible to severe irritation upon contact.
  • Cardiovascular risk: The combination of high heat, low altitude (approximately 430 metres below sea level), and physical activity can place significant strain on the cardiovascular system. Individuals with heart conditions, hypertension, or related medical conditions must consult a physician before visiting.
  • Extreme UV radiation: The reduced atmosphere at low altitude and high regional temperatures increase the intensity of UV radiation exposure. The risk of sunburn, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke is elevated, particularly during summer months.
  • Dehydration: The extreme heat of the Dead Sea basin and the effects of hyper-saline water exposure can cause rapid dehydration. Visitors must maintain adequate fluid intake using fresh water.
  • Buoyancy hazard: The extreme buoyancy of Dead Sea water creates a unique physical environment. Swimmers should exercise caution; turning face-down in the water can be hazardous and is not recommended.
  • Wound and skin irritation: Any pre-existing cuts, wounds, skin abrasions, or areas of broken skin will be exposed to extreme salt concentrations, causing significant pain and potential infection risk.

Nothing in this Section constitutes a comprehensive risk assessment. All visitors should consult qualified medical and travel health professionals, and obtain current safety information from local authorities, prior to any visit.

4.3  No Guarantee of Health Outcomes

The Operator makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty that visiting the Dead Sea, using Dead Sea products, or engaging in any activity described on this Site will produce any specific health benefit, therapeutic outcome, or improvement in any medical condition. Individual responses vary and are subject to medical and personal factors outside the Operator’s knowledge or control.

4.4  Regulatory Disclaimer – Health Claims

This Site is not a licensed medical information provider. Content is not reviewed, approved, or endorsed by any health regulatory authority, including but not limited to the Israeli Ministry of Health, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any equivalent national body. Information on this Site has not been evaluated by any regulatory authority for the purposes of diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing any disease or health condition.

Information Accuracy and Content Disclaimer

The Operator makes reasonable efforts to publish accurate, current, and well-sourced information. However, the Site is provided free of charge and operates with limited editorial resources. The Operator cannot guarantee that all content is current, complete, or error-free at the time of your access.

5.1  “As Is” and “As Available” Basis

All content published on the Site – including factual claims, statistics, distances, prices, operating hours, scientific data, and seasonal guidance – is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Operator makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any information.

5.2  Scientific and Geological Data

Scientific and geological data (including figures such as salinity levels, mineral concentrations, surface elevation measurements, and environmental statistics) are drawn from published research and authoritative sources current at the time of writing. Such data may be updated, revised, or superseded by subsequent scientific findings. The Operator does not warrant the ongoing accuracy of such data and accepts no liability if cited third-party research is subsequently revised, retracted, or contradicted.

5.3  Time-Sensitive Information

Information concerning hotel availability, pricing, beach entry fees, transportation timetables, border crossing requirements, visa conditions, water levels, and operational status of facilities is inherently time-sensitive. Users are strongly advised to verify all operational and logistical details directly with the relevant business, authority, or government body before travel or any commitment.

5.4  Correction Requests

The Operator welcomes factual correction requests via the contact mechanism at www.deadsea.com/contact/ using the subject line “Content Correction Request.” The Operator will review all such requests and update content at its sole discretion, without any obligation to act within a particular timeframe.

5.5  Limitation of Liability for Content Reliance

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator, its editors, contributors, officers, directors, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, inconvenience, or expense arising from your reliance on information published on the Site, including any inaccuracy, omission, outdated content, or content based on third-party sources that are themselves inaccurate. Responsibility for verifying information before acting upon it rests entirely with the user.

Travel Advisories, Safety, and Destination Risk

6.1  Travel Advisory Obligation

The Operator urges all users to independently investigate and review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by the Israeli government, the Jordanian government, and their own country’s relevant foreign affairs ministry prior to planning, booking, or committing to travel to the Dead Sea region.

Official resources include the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (mfa.gov.il), the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism, and the foreign affairs ministry of your country of residence. The Operator does not represent that travel to any destination is advisable, safe, or without risk.

6.2  Geological and Environmental Hazards

SPECIFIC HAZARD WARNING – SINKHOLES AND GEOLOGICAL RISK

The Dead Sea shoreline and surrounding basin are subject to active geological hazards including sinkholes (dolinas) caused by the dissolution of underground salt layers as the Dead Sea recedes. Sinkholes can form suddenly and without warning on or near beaches, access roads, and recreational areas.

Visitors must consult local authorities and follow current beach access guidance before entering shoreline areas. Do not access restricted or fenced areas. The Operator accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from geological hazards at any location in the Dead Sea region.

Additional environmental hazards in the Dead Sea region include, but are not limited to:

  • Extreme summer heat and risk of heat stroke
  • Flash flood risk in desert wadis during rainfall events
  • Limited emergency medical facilities relative to the remoteness of some areas
  • Variable and potentially unpredictable beach access conditions
  • Rapidly changing water levels and shoreline conditions

6.3  No Warranty of Safety

By listing information relevant to travel to the Dead Sea region, the Operator does not represent or warrant that travel to any specific destination, beach, facility, or area is safe, open, accessible, or without risk. The Operator is not liable for damages or losses arising from travel to the Dead Sea region, from participation in any activity, or from any event occurring within that destination.

Users assume full and exclusive responsibility for assessing the safety and suitability of any planned travel based on current government advisories, personal health circumstances, and local conditions.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites operated by parties other than the Operator. Such links are provided for user reference only. The Operator does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any linked third-party website.

You access linked third-party websites at your own risk. You should review the terms of use and privacy policies of any third-party website you visit. The Operator is not responsible for the goods, services, or content offered on third-party websites, including any health-related claims made by third-party businesses, hotel properties, spa facilities, or medical clinics.

The inclusion of a hyperlink does not imply endorsement of the linked entity, its products, services, or claims. Users agree to verify all aspects of third-party offers directly with the offering party and to hold the Operator harmless for any circumstances arising from interactions with third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Operator does not warrant that the Site will be continuously available, free from errors, or that any defect will be corrected.

13.2  Health Disclaimer – Non-Redundancy Statement

The limitation of liability set out in this Section 13 is in addition to, and not in substitution for, the specific health and medical content disclaimer set out in Section 4. Both Sections apply independently and cumulatively.

13.3  Exclusion of Consequential Loss

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator (and its officers, directors, affiliates, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or connected with: (a) access to, use of, or inability to use the Site; (b) reliance on any content, opinion, or information published on the Site; (c) reliance on any health-related, wellness, or therapeutic content; (d) travel decisions, bookings, or itineraries made based on Site content; or (e) interactions with any third party whose services or facilities are referenced on the Site.

As the Site is provided free of charge, the applicable cap in most cases will be USD 50.

13.5  Personal Injury Exclusion

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by the Operator’s negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited under applicable law. These exclusions apply in addition to any mandatory rights you have under your local law that cannot be waived by contract.

13.6  Mandatory Consumer Rights Preservation

16.1  Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Subject to Section 15 (EU/EEA Consumer Rights), disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.

16.2  Limitation Period for Claims

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any claim or cause of action arising from your use of the Site must be brought within two (2) years from the date on which the claim arose. This limitation does not apply where a longer mandatory period is prescribed by applicable law and cannot be contractually reduced.

The Operator will endeavour to resume normal operation as soon as reasonably practicable.

16.4  Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be severed from the Terms and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely achieves the intended commercial and legal effect of the original.

16.5  No Waiver

Any failure by the Operator to exercise or enforce any right or remedy under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. A waiver of any breach shall not be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing.

16.6  Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or sub-licence any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Operator’s prior written consent. The Operator may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to any affiliated entity or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, without your consent, provided that the assignee assumes all obligations under these Terms.

16.7  Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy and Cookie Policy and any other policies or terms expressly referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator with respect to your use of the Site and supersede all prior communications, proposals, and agreements, whether written or oral.

The Operator’s performance of these Terms is subject to applicable laws and legal processes. Nothing herein derogates from the Operator’s right or obligation to comply with law enforcement requests, court orders, or regulatory requirements.

16.11  Language

These Terms are published in English. To the extent any translation is provided for convenience, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
