A Jordan Dead Sea day pass may mean public-beach admission, a hotel beach-and-pool product, a dining-credit package or a spa visit that excludes the main resort. Choose the product type first, then obtain a dated written confirmation of the price, facilities and exclusions.

Write the request in one sentence:
- “We want managed beach access for two adults on this date.”

This prevents the most common mistake, paying for a product whose name sounds right while its facilities do not match the day.
Step 2: request a complete written quote
Ask for:
- Property, visit date and arrival window
- Number and ages of travellers
- Final price in Jordanian dinars, including tax and required fees
- Beach and named pools
- Towels, lockers, showers and changing rooms
- Food or drink credit
- Mud, spa wet areas or treatments
- Parking
- Payment and cancellation terms
If the reply says “full access,” ask it to name every included area. Save the reply where it can be shown at reception.
A useful confirmation survives the front-desk test. If it would not settle a disagreement about the price, beach or pool, it is not complete.
Step 3: compare the total day
Add transport in both directions, child tickets, excluded food, towels, lockers and any booking fee. Then compare usable hours. A low admission price can be poor value when a fragile connection leaves little time on site.

Step 4: arrange transport before paying
Most resort access is in the Sweimeh area; enter the property’s current official destination and agree on the return. A day-pass price does not prove that a bus stops at the entrance or that a taxi will be available later.
A registered taxi, driver or rental car provides the clearest plan. Treat a scheduled service as current only when the operator confirms the date, stop and return. The Amman guide includes the standalone public-beach route.
Step 5: verify the day before travel
Reconfirm the product, opening time, last entry, pools, beach, child rules, weather and return. Occupancy, events or maintenance can affect resort access. A screenshot from months earlier is not a current booking.
When you arrive
Show the confirmation and ask reception to identify the included facilities on a map; locate the designated water entry, staffed area, freshwater rinse, changing room, locker and return pickup before changing.

If a promised feature is unavailable, resolve it at reception before using the pass.
At the water
Follow staff and posted rules. Enter slowly, lean back and keep the brine away from your face and eyes. Do not dive, splash or swim face-down. Rinse afterward.
Keep children within direct reach and follow the facility’s age and pool rules. There is no universal internet time limit that replaces local guidance or personal medical advice.

Dead Sea Tourist Beach published base admission of JOD 3 for Jordanian visitors, JOD 7 for Arab visitors and JOD 10 for other foreign visitors when checked on 29 August 2026. Those are category-based admission prices, not proof that every pool, towel, locker, mud product or meal is included.
Day-pass product benchmark
Kempinski’s current non-guest offer was JOD 68 for a spa product, while Dead Sea Spa Resort listed JOD 20 for an adult beach-and-pool product in August 2026. The price gap reflects different inclusions. Ask whether the named beach, pools, towels, food and spa areas belong to the quote.
