Tandem skydives operate from Bar Yehuda Airfield near Masada. Advance booking is essential, and weather or aviation conditions can delay or cancel a jump.

What a tandem jump involves

After registration, participants receive instructions and are fitted with the equipment used for the tandem jump. During the flight, the aircraft climbs to the booked exit altitude. The participant exits while securely connected to the instructor, experiences freefall, and then descends under the parachute with the instructor controlling the jump.

The three advertised height options mainly change the climb and freefall portion of the experience. Select the package based on the current offer, not an old price or promotional image.

Age and health requirements

The operator currently publishes a minimum age of 12. Participants aged 12 to 18 need parental approval. All jumpers must meet the operator’s health and physical requirements.

Tell the operator before booking about any medical condition, medication, pregnancy, recent surgery, injury or physical limitation. If there is uncertainty, obtain medical advice and ask whether written clearance is required. Do not assume that making a reservation confirms fitness to jump.

How much time to allow

The operator advises planning for about two hours at the airfield, while noting that an exceptional visit can take up to four hours. Skydiving schedules depend on wind, visibility, aircraft movements and the sequence of booked jumpers. Do not place another fixed appointment immediately after the jump.

What to wear and bring

Wear comfortable clothes suitable for the day’s temperature and closed athletic shoes that stay secure. Bring identification and any parental or medical documentation requested during booking. Ask in advance what can be carried during the jump and how photographs or video are supplied if included in the chosen package.

Getting there

Bar Yehuda Airfield is beside Route 90 near Masada. The skydive does not take place inside Masada National Park. Use the arrival and parking instructions included with the confirmed booking, and allow time for the airfield check-in process.

Weather, delays and cancellations

A clear-looking day does not guarantee that conditions are suitable for jumping. The operator can pause, delay or cancel activity for wind, visibility, aviation or safety reasons. Ask how rescheduling and refunds are handled before paying, especially when the jump is part of a short Dead Sea itinerary.

Nearby places

GoJump can be paired with Masada National Park if the timings remain flexible. Check the park’s current entry and cable-car schedule separately, and remember that a skydiving delay can affect the rest of the day.

Confirm the operator's age, health and physical requirements before paying. A reservation does not by itself confirm that a participant is fit to jump.
