3. Arrange transport to the exact entrance
From Amman, Queen Alia International Airport, Petra or Aqaba, give the driver or navigation app a named hotel, beach or visitor facility. Arrange the return before paying for a day pass.

4. Decide whether to stay
A day trip works for one managed Dead Sea visit and perhaps one nearby cultural stop; one night is stronger for sunset, a slow morning or Bethany Beyond the Jordan. Two or three nights make room for a seasonal Wadi Mujib activity, Madaba and Mount Nebo, or a genuinely restful resort stay.

5. Add nearby places selectively
Bethany Beyond the Jordan is a UNESCO World Heritage site on the eastern bank of the Jordan River, nine kilometres north of the Dead Sea. Madaba and Mount Nebo fit well on routes to or from Amman and the airport; Wadi Mujib is conditional on the exact trail, weather, season, capacity and operator approval.
One attraction plus the shore often makes a better day than three rushed stops. The Dead Sea should remain the destination, not a twenty-minute photograph between checklists.
6. Recheck anything that can change
Within 24 hours of travel, reconfirm:
- Entry or border requirements when relevant
- The exact beach, day pass or room inclusion
- Opening time, last entry and staffed water area
- Driver, pickup and return
- Forecast and any flood or heat warning
