The adventure:
This track takes you over the Dead Sea dams, into the marlstone canyons carved in the plains at the foot of Mount Sodom, then up the mountain through unique salt configurations, overlooking the Dead Sea and the Edom Ridge beyond, with its deep gorges cutting their way into the lowest place on earth.
Crossing the Judea Desert, this jaw dropping motorized tour is your best way to complete a very successful stay off in the Dead Sea.
The course:
Meeting point – the gas station at the Neve Zohar intersection. Your motorized tours begins with a drive into the Dead Sea, over the dams between the factories’ evaporation ponds. From there, we turn our eyes to the impressive marlstone plains and drive into the Nahal Sodom’s winding canyon. We will stop along this magnificent drive, to see the view and to enjoy a relaxing coffee/tea/biscuits respite. We will then climb all the way up the mountain, only to slide down its slopes back to our meeting point.
