The Havari-Almog bicycle trail is the first of a network of cycling trails built as part of the Dead Sea area master plan and the Dead Sea environmental rehabilitation project.

Connected to the Israel National Trail through another trail running the length of the Dead Sea, the Havari-Almog is a 21-km circular trail with three starting points: the Almog Junction, the Wadi Og opening, and the Lido Junction.

From Almog Junction, the trail climbs up the HeEtekim Cliff to a vantage point overlooking the Almog and continues east. Behind Kibbutz Almog, the trail goes into the Marlstone area, then goes back down, passing the Lido Junction on-rout to Almog Junction.

Altogether, cycling this trail is a 200-meter climb, at a medium difficulty level, suitable to relatively experienced cyclists.

Recommended season for cycling the Havari-Almog Trail is October through May.
