Listing Description

Visitors who hoped to visit ol Ein Gedi Beach and discovered that is closed at the moment (due to sinkholes), don’t have to change their plans – they can visit a lovely spa resort and a different beach located in the Ein Gedi area (in the central part of the Dead Sea, right next to Kibbutz Ein Gedi), which has a gorgeous private beach, in addition to other amenities.

The private beach has a reasonable entrance fee and offers visitors comfortable beach chairs, showers, toilets and a lifeguard service. During opening hours, visitors can take a special shuttle from the spa complex to the beach.

What you can find at the Ein Gedi spa

The luxurious spa offers many treatments and activities, as well as some unique perks. So what can find there?

  • Natural mud area – the spa includes an area of natural Dead Sea black mud, where the whole family can experience its benefits. Massage it into your skin, let the sulfur, the clay and the salts the mud contains work their magic, and you’ll emerge glowing and relaxed.
  • Swimming pool – the large outer pool at the complex is beautifully situated at a spot overlooking the Dead Sea. The palm trees, clear air and cool water will make you feel relaxed and refreshed. There’s also a lifeguard and a picnic area.
  • Spa treatments – leave your skin and body to the experienced hands of the spa staff and choose from a variety of massages, facial treatments and body scrubs.
  • Sulfur pools – the spa’s 6 thermo-mineral sulfur pools provide numerous health benefits: they can help heal the skin, restore tissue, alleviate muscle pains, strengthen hair and nails and just help you unwind from the pressures of modern life.
  • Health & beauty store- the cosmetics store offers various products such as body lotions, soaps, salts, healing mud and more. The products combine Dead Sea minerals and other beneficial components such as oils and vitamins.
  • Restaurant – the spa restaurant offers high quality food including meat, fish, salads, desserts and various beverages. There’s also a snack bar and an ice cream store.

How to get to Ein Gedi Beach

You can easily arrive to the beach by taking Road 90 which runs along the Dead Sea. The spa is located right at the entrance of Kibbutz Ein Gedi. The beach is a one-hour drive from Jerusalem, a two-hour drive from Tel Aviv and a 45-minute drive from Arad. From the main hotel area of the Dead Sea – Ein Bokek – it would take you a short 20-minute drive.
