Midbar Winery is a boutique winery in Arad’s Artists’ Quarter. Its identity is tied to grapes grown in desert conditions and small-production winemaking, giving visitors another way to explore the Negev landscape beyond hiking, viewpoints and the Dead Sea shore.

The winery is active and has a visitor center and wine-bar setting. Visitor schedules are not consistently current across available listings, so plan a visit only after speaking with the winery.

Wine shaped by the desert

The winery and local tourism sources connect Midbar’s wines with grapes grown in desert conditions. That gives the visitor center a clear subject for travelers interested in how vineyards and winemaking adapt to an arid region.

The current product range and available vintages change. This guide does not reproduce tasting notes, prices or bottle availability. Ask what can be tasted or purchased when you arrange the visit.

Visiting the winery

The winery has a visitor center and wine bar; arrange the visit in advance. Because the detailed schedule has not been updated consistently, do not arrive expecting a walk-in tour or tasting.

Ask the winery to confirm the date, start time, length, price, group requirements and accessibility arrangements. Anyone planning to taste wine should arrange a safe driver.
